Treetop Walk Bachledka Day Trip & Dunajec River Rafting
Having picked you up from your hotel in Krakow at 8 am, we'll set off southbound for Ždiar, a village in Slovakia. Our journey by minibus will take around 2 hours 30 minutes.
When we get there, we'll embark on a 30 to 40-minute hike to Treetop Walk Bachledka. This tourist complex consists of several wooden platforms with spectacular views of the Bachledka Valley, the Tatra Mountains and the Pieniny National Park.
As we stroll along a walkway that towers 65 feet (20 metres) high, we'll find panels with information about the wild flora and fauna of Slovakia's forests. Our route will lead us to the last platform, which is like a huge beehive, where we'll admire incredible 360-degree views.
We'll then hop back on the minibus and return to Poland for a traditional wooden raft ride on the Dunajec River. During this activity, which will last 2 hours 30 minutes, we'll admire the beauty of the forests and mountains in the southern part of the country. We'll explain how this beautiful landscape was formed while gazing at the Sokolica Mountain and the Trzy Korony.
Next, we'll step back onto dry land in the town of Szczawnica. You'll have 40 minutes of free time here to eat some lunch.
Once you've had something to eat, we'll drive our minibus back to Krakow. We'll drop you off at your hotel at around 8 pm and say our goodbyes.
