Krakow City Golf Cart Tour

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the historic streets of Krakow on this Golf Cart tour. When booking, you'll be able to choose between visiting the Jewish Quarter and Former Ghetto Place or the Old Town District. Both tours meet at 2 Zyblikiewicza Street at the indicated time and include an English-speaking audioguide. You can check out the details of each tour below.

Old Town District Tour (45 minutes)

If you choose this tour, you'll spend 45 minutes discovering the heart of medieval Krakow. This enchanting golf cart ride will transport us to a time of kings, knights, and ancient legends. As we drive through the serene beauty of Planty Park and the cobbled streets of the Old Town in the electric golf cart, we'll uncover the splendour of Krakow’s historic centre. Marvel at the Gothic architecture of St. Cross Church, the grandeur of the Słowacki Theatre, as well as the remnants of Krakow’s former city walls.

We'll continue with a visit to the Barbican and the historic Jan Matejko Square. As well as that, we'll see the Church of St. Florian and the bustling Sławkowska Street, where history meets the vibrancy of modern life. As we pass, we'll see the Czartoryski Museum before we turn up St. John’s Street, and admire the historic St. John’s Church.

Next, we'll reach the iconic Main Square, a lively hub of activity with a rich history and vibrant atmosphere. Then, we'll continue to Plac Szczepański, home to the Palace of Art. Approaching the end of our tour, we'll see St. Anne’s Church, the Town Hall and the Franciscan Church.

Lastly, we'll admire the royal splendour of Wawel Castle, perched majestically on a hill, providing a fitting end to this journey through Krakow’s past after a total of 45 minutes.

Jewish Quarter & Former Ghetto Place Tour (1.5 hours)

Step back in time and discover the poignant history of Kazimierz, Krakow's Jewish district. On this tour, we'll dive deep into Jewish life before the Nazi occupation, revealing the duality of the district's Christian and Jewish heritage.

We'll start by driving through Planty Park and exploring enchanting narrow streets, where we'll come across historic synagogues like Tempel, Kupa, Isaac, Old Synagogue, Popper, and Remuh. Throughout our journey, we'll be immersed in the rich traditions of Jewish culture as we visit the Jewish Quarter and the family home of Helena Rubinstein. We'll also hear about the Nissembaum Family Foundation at their memorial stone and see old Jewish shops that tell tales of yesteryear.

As our tour continues, we'll journey through the former Krakow Ghetto, visiting sites immortalised in the 1993 film "Schindler's List." We'll hear more stories about Oskar Schindler and his factory. We'll also pay a visit to Ghetto Heroes Square and the Pharmacy under the Eagle, where the heroic Tadeusz Pankiewicz lived.

Next, we'll experience the solemnity of the Ghetto Wall memorial site at ul. Lwowska, where an original fragment of the walls from the Second World War still stands. Along the way, we'll pass by other significant sites such as the Church of St. Joseph, Skałka Church, the Church of St. Catherine, and Wolnica Square, home to the Jewish City Hall.

Finally, after a total of 1.5 hours, the tour will come to an end.
