Museum of Municipal Engineering in Krakow

Housed inside a former tram depot, the Museum of Municipal Engineering (Muzeum Inżynierii Miejskiej) is one of the most modern museums in Krakow. It was created to tell the history of civil engineering.

The museum has an extremely large collection of items related with civil engineering, craftwork, the history of the public transport system in Kraków and Poland’s automotive industry.

The exhibits include very varied objects, from the oldest public transport vehicles to fifteenth century printing houses. It also includes a section where children can learn and experiment, a collection of Polish cars and the largest motorcycles in the country.

A unique museum
