Set off on a 4-hour private tour of the historic center and Jewish Quarter of Krakow and learn about the city’s history and culture with a knowledgeable English-speaking guide. It is the ideal way to discover the best of Poland’s former capital.
Krakow Private Walking Tour
After your guide collects you from your hotel, begin a walking tour of the Old Town of Krakow. Amble down the Royal Road, which stretches through the city’s historic center and admire the numerous landmarks on either side, while your guide explains all there is to know about the city.
During the tour you’ll stop at Juliusz Słowacki Theatre, discover Jagiellonian University and the area around it, followed by the Main Square, home to the striking Cloth Hall and St. Mary’s Basilica. Afterwards, explore Wawel Hill and walk into the impressive Wawel Cathedral.
After visiting the historic center, you’ll head to Kazimierz, one of the best preserved Jewish Quarters in Europe, where the Jewish traditions and customs are still visible. Walk down the most important streets of the neighborhood, learn about its fascinating past, the most iconic buildings and monuments, some of which you’ll recognize if you have seen Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List”.
The tour finishes in the center of Kazimierz, home now to numerous trendy coffee shops and good restaurants.
