Kościuszko Mound Tickets
Ticket Details
If you're in Kraków, you can't miss climbing the Kościuszko Mound, one of the city's most iconic landmarks. You’ll take a true journey through Polish history and enjoy unbeatable panoramic views. Located on Saint Bronisława Hill, this spot combines historical meaning with an idyllic natural setting. Ready to discover it?
Built in 1823 in honor of Tadeusz Kościuszko, a national hero of Poland and the United States, the mound stands as a powerful symbol of freedom and resistance. Your ticket will allow you to walk up the spiral path and, once at the top, you'll be rewarded with spectacular 360-degree views of Kraków, the winding Vistula River, and, on clear days, even the peaks of the Tatra Mountains. A perfect photo moment!
But this visit is much more than just the views. At the base of the mound, you’ll find Fort No. 2 “Kościuszko,” a 19th-century citadel that houses a series of exhibitions. Here, you can learn about Kościuszko's life and legacy, his military campaigns, and his key role in Polish history.
You’ll also be able to explore the military history of the fort, as well as exhibitions such as The Polish Road to Freedom and other temporary and permanent displays.
Visiting the Kościuszko Mound takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
