Polish Aviation Museum Guided Visit
Immerse yourself in the history of the world's most significant wars and battles on our Polish Aviation Museum Guided Visit. As you explore the old airfield, you'll see some iconic aircraft models.
Polish Aviation Museum Guided Visit
At 9:30 am, we'll meet at the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow. From there, we'll walk a few metres to the tram station to hop on a tram that'll take us to the Polish Aviation Museum.
Once we've arrived, we'll start a fascinating tour of the museum. This place houses an impressive collection of over 200 aircraft, including gliders, helicopters and many more.
During our visit, we'll see aircraft from the First and Second World Wars, as well as the Cold War. We'll also learn some fun facts about symbolic aircraft models such as the Sopwith Camel, Messerschmitt Bf 109, Supermarine Spitfire and the Soviet MiG fighters.
We'll also see the helicopter used by Pope John Paul II on his visit to Poland and some of the planes that belonged to Hermann Goering, the Nazi Commander of the Luftwaffe.
It'll then be time to head back to the starting point by tram, where we'll finish our guided visit at around 12:30 pm.
